Being young in today’s world, especially in business, can be challenging. I’ve often faced missed opportunities and dismissive attitudes because of my age. I understand this to some extent—most people don’t expect someone under 20 to be as focused and driven as I am. From a young age, I’ve been called an “old soul” and told that I “carry myself well.” The truth is, I had to grow up quickly due to my upbringing.
PCE is the first place that has truly felt like home. From day one, I was told that my age wouldn’t affect my growth or the limits I could reach. Initially, I was skeptical. However, within the first two weeks, I experienced rapid personal growth and learning, which led me to a leadership position. I had assumed that my age would slow down my promotion, but that wasn’t the case at all.
Every day at PCE, I’ve been invested in, supported, and promoted. I’ve learned something new daily, made friends, and never felt that my age was a barrier. Here at PCE, age isn’t a deciding factor. What matters is your hunger for success, your ability to perform at a high level, and your determination to turn challenges into lessons.
PCE is my happy place. I’m here to stay because this is where I belong and where I feel valued. My age doesn’t define me; it’s about the heart and effort you put in. You get what you give. I’ve been blessed with a great opportunity and a wonderful community at PCE. I’m excited about my career here and couldn’t be happier.
